Turo Pekari is an innovation specialist, researcher, advisor, mentor, ecosystem & community builder based in Helsinki, Finland. He works as senior advisor, innovation and business insight at Teosto and he’s been leading the work of several Nordic innovation labs developing future solutions for music rights management. This year Turo has also been busy co-founding and running #NextStageChallenge, a pan-European music innovation initiative formed during Covid-19 pandemic, as the chair of the copyright infrastructure development working group for data practices appointed by the Ministry of Education and Culture of Finland, as guest lecturer of music management studies programme of Arcada University of Applied Sciences Helsinki as well as expert advisor for Music Finland’s Fast Track music business accelerator.
